Windmill Wine Shop and Cottages
Perfectly placed between Sabie and Hazyview, the Windmill Wine Shop and Cottages offers 4 star accommodation that is perfect for guests exploring the Mpumalanga Lowveld. Whether you are on the hunt for the Big Five or are looking to discover the amazing natural beauty of the Panorama Route this is the ideal place to stay.
Towards Hazyview is the world famous Kruger National Park, with a choice of three gates from which to enter this natural wonderland. The town of Hazyview itself is also well worth a visit, with shops and restaurants, as well as the town’s history in mining and the development of the local area. In the other direction, towards Sabie are sights such as God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes and Blyde River Canyon. There are also a huge range of adventure activities on offer in the area.
The cottages are on a 22 hectare property that is rich in local wild life, which includes Vervet Monkeys, Banded Mongoose, rare Red Duiker, Bushbuck and Caracal, as well as a wealth of birdlife.
The Windmill Cottages has been awarded 4 Stars for Bed & Breakfast by the TGCSA – Tourism Grading Council of South Africa.
