Toro Yaka is a bush camp in the Limpopo Province, and is set on the 38 000 hectare nature reserve of Balule in the Greater Kruger National Park. The camp offers guests the ideal way to experience the bush, up close and personal. With the emphasis on privacy, intimacy and service excellence, Toro Yaka provides guests with a true bush experience. The lodge is run and owned by husband and wife team Steve and Nicole, and they have made it their mission to provide the best in bush lodge accommodation.

With bush activities led by Steve, who is a fully trained and qualified field guide, ranging from walks to game drives and bird watching expeditions, guests can get up close to the game and have a trip to remember. Morning bush walks allow guests to get closer to nature and sundown drives that extend into the night offer guests the chance of nocturnal sightings.

The pool deck, where there is a refreshing, glittering oasis in the summer heat over looks a waterhole, as do the dining room and entertainment area. From here guests can enjoy the animals in their natural habitat. There is also a spotlight for night viewing at the waterhole.

Accommodation

Six en-suite double or twin rooms equipped with overhead fans, air conditioners and mosquito nets, all under thatch, ensures luxury but fitting accommodation.
Game viewing from your room or wooden deck in front of your room is an added bonus.

In addition the camp offers a laundry service, WiFi, communal DSTV and range of massage treatments on site.

Dining

Breakfast is provided after the morning walk, and in the evenings guests can experience authentic “bush cuisine” by the campfire.
