Between White River and Hazyview, Plumbago Guest House is set on an avocado and banana farm in the Mpumalanga Lowveld.

Inspired by the ideals of yester-year, this colonial house on a working plantation offers guests the ultimate in comfort and luxury as they head off to explore the area. Just 20 minutes from the Kruger National Park, Plumbago sits on top of a hill over looking the Lowveld out towards this great national monument that is home to the Big 5. In the other direction as you venture out you head towards the Panorama Route, where you will find God’s Window, Pilgrim’s Rest and the Blyde River Canyon.

After days of adventure our guests often enjoy time spent at Plumbago, relaxing. Whether you choose to soak up the sunshine by the pool, invigorate yourself in the sauna or opt for a more energetic game of tennis or simply sit back and take in the magnificent views while listening to the bird song and monkey chatter, you need not leave the confines of the guest house.

Dining

Breakfast is served on the terrace, and an early bird pack can be arranged for those who choose to head of at the crack of dawn.
Dinner is available, but only by prior arrangement; otherwise there is a wide variety of restaurants in the local area.

Accommodation

There are three suites, all with en-suite bathrooms and king size beds.

Suite 1 can also have extra beds added, making it ideal for the family.

The suites are all tastefully decorated, with natural tones, Jacobean print curtains, mahogany beds and an abundance of fresh flowers, with water colours adorning the walls. Each suite is air conditioned, and has a sitting area, tea tray and fine bed linen.
